Tina began her career in health care over 18 years ago with many aspects from pharmacy, billing, to recruitment and retention.  She came to Centura Health at Home in July 2006.  She has been in Human Resources for over 6 years doing recruitment and retention and some employee relations, payroll and compensation.  She has received her BS/BA in Business Management and feels that her education and experience will assist her in her current role.  She obtained her MBA in December of 2009.  She is a Colorado native and although does not know how to ski, loves the changing seasons and mountains without the snow.  She is an active member of the local Colorado Human Resource Association, as well as national organizations.  She is currently on the Executive Committee as the new Survey Coordinator for CHAHRM.  

Tina is the Sate Wide Recruiter for Centura Health at Home which includes the Denver area, Colorado Springs, Pueblo/Canon City, Pagosa Springs and Durango and  Summit County and the Charting Station in Louisville. She works on all the recruitment and retention.

 After twenty one years of dedication to service and country in the United States Air Force, Everett brings his unwavering character, expertise and vast knowledge as a Sr. Physician Recruiter. Everett prides himself on his tenacity in building new business and forging strong relationships while securing his customer’s loyalty. In his previous position as a Healthcare Recruiter with Exempla, he hit the ground running by developing positive working relationships with Department Directors and decreasing open requisitions from eighty three to twenty-six. He also developed a recruitment plan for the IT department to meet EPIC/ E-Summit “go live” in 2009 through responsiveness and delivery of accurate, timely and effective recruiting services. He assessed employment needs with Exempla Department Directors and Healthcare professionals and served as the consultant on final candidate selection and salary determinations for numerous c-level healthcare positions. He monitored labor market trends while identifying and developing recruitment strategies to meet staffing needs.  As an Air Force Recruiting manager in Santa Monica, California and Denver, Colorado, he single-handedly reached qualified applicants by generating over 200 percent of new business in traditionally difficult professional and political subdivisions.  In addition, Everett received numerous awards as the Top Medical Corps Recruiter and Most Valuable Health Profession’s Recruiter in fiscal year 2006 and 2007.  Everett’s experience within the Healthcare industry includes managing the recruitment needs for the Biomedical Service Corps, Medical Service Corps, Dental Corps and the Medical Health Professions Scholarship Program. In 2004, Everett was honored as the number one recruiter out of 1,500 nationwide and received the Air Force Sergeant’s Association Recruiter of the Year Award.  His consistent production, professional enthusiasm, and stellar customer service skills garnered him the coveted Master Recruiter “Gold Badge”.  Additionally, he was selected for “Operation Blue Suit XXVI”, 1 of 12 recruiters in the nation to obtain Air Force Recruiting Service highest honor. Everett holds a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. He is a member of the American Legion, Colorado Arthritis Foundation, and is an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Technical University.   Everett vows to bring energy, innovation and dedication to the position of Vendor Representative.

Laura Roybal’s human resources career spans 16 years in generalist, management and recruitment capacities. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for undergraduate studies as well as Denver University and Regis University for certificate programs. Laura recently received the CHCR certification from NAHCR and president of the Denver Area Healthcare Recruiters Association. Laura has been published in the Society of Human Resource Management's periodical, "HR Magazine" and the Colorado Healthcare Human Resources Association newsletter. Laura is active in several associations and charities such as the Downtown Denver Residents Association, Golden Trianagle Association, National Association of Professional Women, Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Big Brothers/Big Sisters as well as Mi Casa, a Latina resource center for at-risk women. She has also serves at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce as a panel member for a consortium involving diversity recruitment issues.

Stephanie Parker – Past President, Secretary and Current Treasurer,  is currently the Licensed Recruiter for DaVita, and recently obtained the CHCR from NAHCR.  DaVita is the largest provider of dialysis services in the United States!  She originally began her career with Centura Health, where she worked for almost 10 years in a capacity of roles, with the most recent of those being the Nurse Recruiter for St. Anthony Hospitals.  Stephanie holds a degree in Management with an emphasis in Human Resources.  Stephanie has been a member of DAHCRA since 1999 and is proud of the work we do together!  She states, “With our nursing crisis, we all are vying for nurses.  I believe in working together to attract the best to Colorado!  I love being a part of this organization and working with such great recruiters from all over!”  Stephanie is also a member of CHAHRM (Colorado Healthcare Association or Human Resource Management) and our national affiliation NAHCR.  If you have any questions about the organizations, please feel free to contact her at 303-680-1780 or toll free at 1-888-778-9140.

Joanell Pegg has been recruiting for over 20 years.  Ten years ago Joanell moved into healthcare from a sales background first in the IT department at the Corporate Service Center then as the Allied Health Recruiter for Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver.  She saton the Steering Committee that resulted in acquiring the MagnetMagnet Designation for Porter Hospital in January 2009.  Additionally, Joanell works with area schools to coach and counsel potential health-care candidates.  Joanell is also a member of NAHCR and SHRM.

 Mary Riebe, Community Relations Recruiter at Kaiser Permanente, graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in English.   An Illinois native who transplanted to Colorado, Mary has also lived and worked in Michigan and Florida.  With more than 20 years in healthcare, Mary has a wide variety of experience, including medical transcription, unit secretary, HR training and organizational development, generalist and recruiter.  In addition to working for Kaiser Permanente for seven years, Mary has also worked for OSF Hospital System, The Children’s Hospital, Melbourne Internal Medicine Associates, as well as Barnes Business College, CitiGroup, Michigan National Bank and Progressive Insurance.  In her community relations role, Mary works with various colleges and universities to place students in clinical rotations and intern- or externships for the Colorado Region.  She serves on advisory boards for Front Range Community College, Red Rocks Community College, Regis University, Metro State College, Everest College, and Pima Medical Institute. Mary also coordinates community outreach, career fairs, and branding activities.
